Malmaison Liverpool for Carea

Malmaison Liverpool for Carea

The very impressive and imposing hotel Malmaison Liverpool is part of the redevelopment of the docks and the surrounding area. Malmaison is located at William Jessop Way, Princes Dock, Liverpool, L3 1QZ. The stylish hotel, according to its website has 130 slinky room and rock’n’roll suites whatever that means!! Unfortunately we didn’t venture inside to find out because our commission was to capture by video the exterior of the hotel, in particular the composite mineral cladding supplied by Carea UK.

This is actually the first purpose built hotel for the Malmaison Group. Designed by architects Leach Rhodes Walker and constructed by Morgan Sindall. The top five floors actually accommodate 41 luxury apartments.

This is one of a series of buildings around the country that we have photographed for Carea and this video capture is for a case study series. Property based videos are becoming very popular and a complimentary service offered by Commerial Property Photography which can be a cost effective addition, especially when combined with high resolution portfolio photography, virtual tours or elevated mast photography.

Carea UK supplied the composite mineral cladding covering the Malmaison Hotel building which was installed by Red Architectural. The cladding is its Acantha rainscreen with a riven finish.

Other developments for Carea UK where we have undertaken either installation photography during construction, brochure portfolio photography of the completed scheme and/or property videos or indeed a combination of all of these are:

Typically cost start at around £395 for video when combined with other work. The total cost for this video was £595 all inclusive, which was not combined with other services offered by us and this is just to give an example of what can be provided by Commercial Property Photography. The video is high definition 1080p, though compressed here as indeed all videos are that are streamed over the internet. The soundtrack was provided by our clients Carea UK, who purchased the track for the purpose and supplied that to us.
