This photographic commission was undertaken for Building Better Health, a property development company which specialises in partnerships with the public sector, especially Primary Care Trusts and this is no exception here. The building here I think is quite aptly named the Heart of Hounslow and is known as a Polyclinic. Sounds like a made-up title which actually represents a new way of patients receiving healthcare. It is a one roof solution where they combine GP and routine hospital care with a range of well-being and other support services.
Sunshine and showers didn’t make this commission the easiest. Photographers love this weather really but clients very often prefer a bit more blue sky in a commercial marketing photograph. Oh well, a love the little boy running out of the Medical Centre with his Mum trying to catch him up! He was quick but I did blur the shot a bit with a longer exposure to protect their identities.
