This commission was a little bit different, no photography! Well this is not quite true, what I mean is no conventional photography. We were instructed primarily to provide a virtual tour of the Distribution Park, an area covering over 150 acres near Manchester. We also included a short video of the industrial estate for marketing purposes.
For the virtual tour shown below we decided to provide the nodes or viewpoints generally from slightly elevated positions due to the scale of the site and the proximity of the warehouses and industrial units. This provides some inter connectivity between the nodes, showing how each view relates to each other. The elevated photography is undertaken using our 17 metres mast. We did not utilise the full height of the mast in this instance, wanting to show a better perspective of the industrial units rather than an aerial view.
